22nd Anniversary of RSGM USU: Service Innovation and Commitment to Public Health

The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) celebrated its 22nd anniversary with successful events at the RSGM USU building. Themed "Towards the New Look of RSGM USU: Maximum Smiles, Optimal Services," the celebrations began with pre-events on March 5, 2024, and culminated with a series of main events on June 26-27, 2024.

On June 26, 2024, RSGM USU hosted a scientific seminar accredited by the Ministry of Health, showcasing the latest advancements in dentistry. The event also featured social activities, such as a blood donation drive, health screenings, and an SME bazaar, providing small and medium enterprises with opportunities to promote their products.

The pinnacle of the celebration occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2024, attended by notable figures in education and healthcare. Among the attendees were USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si; Vice Rector III Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Z. Hasibuan, M.Si., Apt; Vice Rector V Dr. Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P; University Secretary Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K)-Fer; and Secretary of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Guslihan Dasa Tjipta, Sp.A(K). Representing the Acting Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office was Dr. M. Emirsyah, MKM.

The celebration also included a community service program, offering free dental care to the academic community and the general public, followed by a blood donation drive and an SME bazaar.

The 22nd Anniversary of RSGM USU was a celebration and a testament to its commitment to enhancing service quality and contributing to the community. As part of the festivities, RSGM USU inaugurated its Executive Clinic, staffed by Sumatra's most comprehensive specialists and subspecialists. This event reflected the strong collaboration between educational institutions, the government, and the business sector to achieve a better public health vision.
