About Dental and Oral Hospital Universitas Sumatera Utara

USU Dental and Oral Hospital was established for Professional Education for Dentists and Specialist Dentists based on PP No. 93 of 2015 concerning teaching hospitals. Apart from the field of education, RSGM USU also carries out dental and oral health services for the general public. RSGM USU has provided an available service unit to serve the community's dental and oral health needs. RSGM USU serves ten primary and specialist dental services, namely oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontia, prosthodontia, dental conservation, oral disease, periodontia, pediatric dentistry, IKGP / KGM, integrated education, and general dental clinics.

History

1965

The forerunner of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) was the Dental Treatment Center at the USU Faculty of Dentistry in 1965.

2005

Along the way, the Dental Treatment Center developed into the Dental and Oral Hospital of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara with an Official License issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health with Number: 1625/Menkes/SK/XI/2005.

2018

Then in 2018 it changed to the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital and was inaugurated by the USU Rector, Prof.Dr. Runtung Sitepu, SH, M.Hum. RSGM USU was designated as a type C hospital by the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Office in 2018.
