A total of 75 students from the Professional Dentistry Education Program were officially handed over from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU) to the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Held at the Nazir Alwi Hall, FKG USU, this handover marked the formal start of the students’ clinical clerkship, a key stage in building professional, ethical, and responsible clinical competencies.

The handover was conducted by the Dean of FKG USU, Dr. drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA., Subsp. PKOA (K) to the Vice Director of RSGM USU, drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, and attended by academic leaders and clinical education representatives. After the ceremony, RSGM USU provided an orientation briefing covering rules, service systems, and readiness to perform clinical duties with professionalism and strong ethics.
