A proud milestone for oral healthcare in North Sumatra: RSGM USU, together with FKG USU, IPROSI Medan Branch, Haleon (Polident), and PGRI North Sumatra, delivered a community service program titled “Balikin Senyum Guruku”—providing free denture fitting and denture cleaning for teachers—and successfully broke a MURI (Indonesian World Records Museum) record with 251 participating teachers.

The program took place on February 8, 2026, at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU) as a form of appreciation for teachers.

Official reporting states that 251 teachers from Medan, Binjai, Deli Serdang, and surrounding areas joined the program, earning the health-category record for the largest number of denture fittings for teachers.

The event also involved a large clinical team—prosthodontic specialists, general dentists, residents, clinical clerkship students, and dental technicians—supporting safe and organized service delivery.
