The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) held a coordination meeting with the Head of the Dental Health Department of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Medan (Poltekkes Kemenkes Medan) on July 9, 2024, at the RSGM USU Meeting Room. The meeting aimed to discuss a collaboration program for training students from the Dental Health Department of Poltekkes Kemenkes Medan at RSGM USU as part of efforts to enhance the three pillars of higher education (education, research, and community service).
This collaboration was initiated to provide students with practical experience in a real working environment at a dental and oral hospital in North Sumatra. Through this training program, students are expected to develop their clinical skills under the direct guidance of medical and dental health professionals at RSGM USU. This collaboration is also expected to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and support human resource development in dental health, thereby contributing positively to public health services.
