The Coordination Committee for Education held a technical meeting on implementing the Forensic Odontology Clinical Clerkship. This meeting was chaired by Drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, M.KM, attended by forensic odontology lecturers, including Drg. Yendriwati, M.Kes., Sp.OF, Drg. Rini Octavia Nasution, M.Kes., Sp.Perio, Subsp. RPID(K), Drg. Nevi Yanti, Sp.KG., Subsp. KE(K), M.Kes., Drg. Cek Dara Manja, Sp.RKG., Subsp. RDP(K), Drg. Putri Welda Utami Ritonga, M.DSc., Sp.Pros., Subsp. PMF(K), Drg. Ika Astrina, M.DSc., and Drg. Atika Resti Fitri, M.Sc. The meeting occurred in the RSGM USU meeting room on August 29, 2024.
The meeting aimed to discuss the clinical clerkship workflow for forensic odontology within the context of dental education. The purpose was to ensure that all technical and administrative aspects of the clinical clerkship were conducted in compliance with established standards. Through effective coordination, the forensic clinical clerkship is expected to run smoothly and contribute significantly to students' skill development. The Coordination Committee for Education remains committed to monitoring and evaluating the clerkship to ensure educational standards are maintained and aligned with the latest advancements in forensic odontology.
