The Orthodontics Study Program of the Faculty of Dentistry of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), together with the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU), held an IKORTI social service with the theme "Contribution of Orthodontists for the Country" on November 6, 2024. This activity aims to provide direct benefits to the community by simultaneously installing fixed orthodontic devices throughout Indonesia. The implementation of this activity also includes creating an MURI record, which marks the commitment of orthodontists to improving access to and quality of oral health services in Indonesia. This event was held at the USU RSGM Specialist Integration Clinic and Live through the Zoom platform to reach more participants.
Through this activity, the USU FKG Orthodontic Study Program and RSGM USU contribute to improving public dental health and educating the public about the importance of orthodontic treatment in supporting dental health and aesthetics. This activity is also essential in strengthening collaboration between health institutions and increasing public awareness about the critical role of orthodontists in maintaining oral health.
