The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) served as the venue for the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity conducted by the Collegium of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist Education Program (PPDGS) on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.
As part of its commitment to improving specialist dental education and clinical services, the visitation team from the Indonesian Collegium of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, drg. Cahya Yustisia, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.C.O.Mf., and Dr. drg. Ni Putu Mira, Sp.B.M.Mf., Subsp.Tr.Mf.S.Tm, whom are reviewed the readiness of facilities and the standards of specialist education at RSGM USU.
The activity was accompanied by the Director of RSGM USU, drg. Siti Salmiah, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG USU), leadership representatives, and lecturers in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, all of whom supported efforts to strengthen specialist dental education based on national standards.
The visitation team reviewed key service facilities, including the central operating theatre, inpatient ward, specialist care units, and the emergency department, to ensure the readiness and quality of clinical dental services at RSGM USU.
RSGM USU welcomed the Monev activity as a strategic step to strengthen clinical service quality and specialist dental education while enhancing synergy with FKG USU.
