The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara held a coordination meeting to prepare for a social service organized by IKORTI (Indonesian Orthodontist Association) on October 28, 2024, in the RSGM USU meeting room and led directly by the director of RSGM USU drg. Siti Salmiah, Sp.KGA, Subsp.KKA (K). The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of RSGM USU drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, M.K.M, Representative of the Orthodontist department drg. Erliera, Sp.Ort., Subsp. DDTK (K), as well as the Heads of the USU RSGM Division. In this coordination meeting, various important aspects of the event were discussed, including scheduling activities, the required budget, and the division of tasks for the committee.
The IKORTI social service with RSGM USU aims to provide oral health services to the community, especially those in need. This coordination meeting is a strategic step to optimize the implementation of these activities by involving various related parties. It is hoped that the synergy formed during this meeting will produce an effective program that positively impacts the community and increases awareness of the importance of oral health among the wider community.
