The Medan Health Polytechnic of the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Medan) organized a student preparation event for students of the Dental Health Department who will participate in Field Learning Experiences (PBL) at the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The event, held on August 2, 2024, at the Auditorium of Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Medan, aimed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for their PBL at the hospital. The first speaker, Head of the Education, Research, and Community Service Department of RSGM USU, Drg. Gebby Gabrina and the second speaker, RSGM USU's Dental Nurse Coordinator, Syahfitri Ananda, A.Md.Kes, delivered insightful presentations.
In her speech, the Head of the Dental Health Department of Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Medan, Drg. Yetti Lusiani, M.Kes, expressed her hope that students would use this opportunity to hone their practical skills and apply the knowledge gained during their studies. The event continued with remarks from the Deputy Director of RSGM USU, Drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to engage directly with the speakers and gain additional insights to prepare for their PBL.
