The Director of the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Drg. Siti Salmiah Sp.KGA.Subsp.KKA(K) led a coordination meeting on July 11, 2024, in the RSGM USU meeting room. The purpose of the meeting was to strategize and coordinate necessary steps to improve the quality of surgical services for patients at RSGM USU.
Members of the management team, oral and maxillofacial surgery specialist Drg. Isnandar, Sp.B.M.M., Subsp. T.M.T.M.J(K), anesthesiology specialist Dr. Dodi Iskandar, MKed (An), Sp.An-TI, FCC, and other related medical staff attended the meeting.
The discussion focused on optimizing operational procedures, procuring the latest medical equipment, and enhancing facilities to support safe, effective, and reliable surgical practices at RSGM USU. Strategic decisions during the meeting aim to ensure that surgical services at RSGM USU operate optimally, adhere to high safety standards, and better address patient healthcare needs.
Concrete steps resulting from this meeting will be implemented immediately to strengthen RSGM USU's position as a center of excellence in dental and oral healthcare services in North Sumatra.
