The Board of Directors of the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) meeting took place in the RSGM USU meeting room on May 29, 2024. It was attended by the heads of specialist dental programs, including Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The main agenda of the meeting was to review the unit costs related to dental implant procedures and their associated approaches.
During the discussion, the directors and program heads delved into critical aspects affecting the unit costs of dental implant procedures. This included evaluating factors such as technology, materials used, and efforts to enhance process efficiency. Through collaboration between the RSGM USU directors and the heads of specialist dental programs, the meeting outcomes are expected to contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of dental implant services at RSGM USU.
