The Education Coordination Committee Meeting was held at the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) on Wednesday, July 11, 2024. The meeting, conducted in the RSGM USU meeting room, aimed to discuss strategies and developments in education, particularly for the Dentistry Professional Education Program (PSPPDG) and the Specialist Dentistry Education Program (PPDGS).
This meeting also served as an important forum to identify dental education challenges and opportunities and formulate effective solutions focusing on PSPPDG and PPDGS, the participants aimed to produce recommendations that could advance the curriculum and strengthen collaboration between FKG USU and RSGM USU. Additionally, they discussed efforts to improve the quality of graduates and align educational programs with the latest advancements in dentistry. The meeting is expected to be pivotal in enhancing dental education standards at RSGM USU and contributing to better dental healthcare services for the community.
