The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) officially received a pediatric dental unit from PT. Cobra Dental Indonesia on Friday, March 21, 2025. The handover ceremony took place at the RSGM USU Lobby and was attended by the Head of Regional Sales for North Sumatra-Aceh Region Mr. Wira Dirgantara, RSGM USU Director Drg. Siti Salmiah, Sp.KGA, Subsp.KKA(K), Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry USU Dr. Drg. Essie Octiara, Sp.KGA, Subsp.PKOA(K), Vice Dean III Dr. Drg. Pitu Wulandari, S.Psi., Sp.Perio, Subsp.MP(K), Vice Director of RSGM USU Drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, Head of Periodontology Department, Head of Pediatric Dentistry Department, Head of Radiology Department, staff from PT. Cobra Dental Indonesia and management and medical personnel from RSGM USU.
This donation is a form of support from PT. Cobra Dental Indonesia enhances the quality of dental health services, particularly for pediatric patients.
The donated pediatric dental unit is expected to help RSGM USU provide better and more comfortable dental care for children, including children with special needs, while strengthening the hospital's service facilities.
With the addition of this new dental unit, RSGM USU is increasingly prepared to deliver optimal services and support efforts to educate and prevent dental diseases among children in North Sumatra.
