The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) participated in the Morning Assembly and Halal Bihalal of the academic community with the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., along with other university leaders, held at the Rectorate Courtyard of USU on Monday, April 6, 2026. The event was attended by the Director of RSGM USU, drg. Rini Octavia Nasution, M.Kes., Sp.Perio., Subsp.RPID(K); Vice Director I, drg. Putri Welda Utami Ritonga, M.DSc., Sp.Pros., Subsp.PMF(K); Vice Director II, drg. Teguh Aryo Nugroho, M.DSc., Sp.Ort., Subsp.DDTK(K); as well as all Heads of Divisions and Unit Heads of RSGM USU.
The event began with remarks and a message from the Rector, who expressed his apologies to all staff in the spirit of Halal Bihalal following the Eid al-Fitr celebration. In his address, the Rector emphasized the important role of all lecturers and educational staff in realizing Universitas Sumatera Utara as a World Class University. He also encouraged all staff to contribute positively to others, starting from small actions. According to him, simple steps such as providing prompt and reliable services can serve as a strong foundation in strengthening institutional quality.
On this occasion, the Rector also announced that a reward and punishment system will be implemented for all lecturers and educational staff as part of efforts to enhance performance and professionalism. In addition, the improvement of lecturers’ qualifications will continue to be encouraged to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The event concluded with a gathering and social interaction among attendees, serving as a moment to strengthen unity and a sense of family within the Universitas Sumatera Utara community.
