As part of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s efforts to strengthen oral health programs, the USU Business Management Agency (BPU USU), led by Dr. Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, SE., M.Si, initiated a coordination meeting to discuss a planned dental health screening program for new USU students, proposed to be carried out at the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU).
Held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, the meeting was attended by the Director of RSGM USU drg. Siti Salmiah, Sp.KGA., Subsp.KKA(K)., FICD, Vice Director I drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, the RSGM USU leadership team, and the leadership of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG USU)—as an initial step to align the concept, facility readiness, and service flow.
The main agenda focused on the implementation concept, facility preparedness, and patient service flow at RSGM USU. Since this program is still in the early planning stage, it requires further review and coordination among all stakeholders. The forum aims to build shared understanding before a final decision is made.
