MEDAN - The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) and Helvetia Health Institute (IKH) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday, November 27, 2023. The agreement pertains to the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
Dr. dr. Deli Theo Sp signed the MoU. PK M.Kes, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at IKH, and Drg. Siti Salmiah Sp.KGA Subsp.KKA(K), Director of RSGM USU.
The collaboration aims to enhance the potential and quality of resources in teaching, research, and community service. Its scope includes clinical clerkship programs for Dentistry Study Program students at IKH, research and publication collaborations, and community service initiatives.
Both institutions are committed to working together on various programs to improve the quality of dental education and healthcare services. The MoU will remain in effect for five years, encompassing aspects such as coordination, communication, and the use of available resources and facilities.
This collaboration is expected to benefit both parties significantly, especially by raising the standards of dental education and practice in North Sumatra and contributing positively to the community through various research and service programs.
