The community of the Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara participated in the celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Sumatera Utara by joining the fun walk event. This activity, held on December 14, 2024, involved students, alumni, faculty members, educational staff from FKG USU, and educational staff from RSGM USU as part of an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle. The fun walk served as an enjoyable occasion to strengthen camaraderie while also raising awareness about the importance of physical and mental health.
In addition to the fun walk, the series of events for the 63rd Anniversary of FKG USU also included free dental check-ups for children with special needs, held at RSGM USU. This free dental treatment was specifically aimed at children with special needs, such as those with Down Syndrome, as a tangible expression of care for their dental health. This activity reflects the commitment of FKG USU and RSGM USU to provide inclusive and equitable healthcare services for all segments of society, while also commemorating the historic moment of the 63rd Anniversary.
