On Thursday, July 24, 2025, RSGM USU, in collaboration with Mari Kita Gembira (MKG), held a Training of Trainers (ToT) program on dental implants at Nazir Alwi Hall, Faculty of Dentistry USU. The event marked an important milestone in strengthening dental professionals' capacity in dental implants.
The training was attended by RSGM USU Vice Director drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, division heads and staff of RSGM USU, MKG CEO Mr. Jeong Min Seong, MKG Manager Mr. Addi Astra, as well as patient-responsible dentists (DPJP) from the Oral Surgery, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics Clinics at RSGM USU.
Enhancing Dental Implant Expertise
The training aimed to introduce and teach the latest technologies in dental implants to specialist dentists. Topics covered included basic implant concepts, the newest technological developments, and safe and effective implant placement procedures. This program is expected to equip dentists in North Sumatra with cutting-edge implant techniques and prepare them to become competent trainers for residents and other medical professionals.
