Training on Wastewater Pollution Control (PPPA) for RSGM USU

The Dental and Oral Hospital of Universitas Sumatera Utara (RSGM USU) sent Alfadli Rizki, an Environmental Health staff member, to participate in the Wastewater Pollution Control (PPPA) Training held in Yogyakarta from October 23-26, 2023.

The training covered 10 topics based on SKKNI No. 187 of 2016, including:

  1. Identifying wastewater pollution sources
  2. Determining the characteristics of wastewater pollution sources
  3. Assessing the levels of wastewater pollution
  4. Selecting wastewater treatment equipment
  5. Operating wastewater treatment installations (IPAL)
  6. Recycling treated wastewater
  7. Developing wastewater quality monitoring plans
  8. Conducting wastewater quality monitoring
  9. Identifying hazards in wastewater treatment
  10. Implementing occupational health and safety measures (K3) in wastewater treatment.

 

This training is expected to enable RSGM USU to control wastewater pollution effectively within the hospital environment.
