The Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting campus activities by actively participating in the 2025 New Student Orientation Program (PKKMB 2025). This participation was realized through the deployment of a professional medical team, an ambulance, and various medical equipment needed to safeguard the health and safety of all participants.
PKKMB 2025 was held over three days, from August 13 to 15, 2025. The first day was officially opened at the USU Mini Stadium before continuing at the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in Kwala Bekala. Meanwhile, the second and third days were fully conducted at the Faculty of Forestry, USU, Kwala Bekala.
The RSGM USU medical team consisted of experienced professionals, namely Dr. Muhammad Khairuna Syahputra (general practitioner), Noni Noviany Ginting, AmKep (nurse), and Andri Prasetyo (ambulance driver). They were responsible for providing basic health services and first aid for any medical emergencies that might occur during the event.
In addition, the presence of the RSGM USU ambulance at the venue ensured rapid evacuation to more comprehensive healthcare facilities if needed. This support formed part of RSGM USU’s strategic role in ensuring the smooth implementation of student activities, allowing all participants to take part in the program safely and comfortably.
Participation in PKKMB 2025 also reflects RSGM USU’s commitment to supporting Universitas Sumatera Utara not only in academic matters but also in maintaining the health and safety of the entire academic community. This activity represents a tangible contribution by RSGM USU toward creating a healthy, safe, and supportive campus environment for new students as they begin their university life.
