The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FKG USU), and RSGM USU welcomed a visit from the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) representatives on Monday, April 14, 2025. The delegation was led by Prof. Teoh Khim Hean, BDS, MDS, and was received by the Dean of FKG USU, the RSGM USU Director and Deputy Director, the Head of the RSGM Service Division, and faculty members from FKG USU.
During the visit, RSGM USU Director Drg. Siti Salmiah, Sp.KGA., Subsp.KKA(K) guided the SDGHI delegation through the hospital's main facilities, including the Emergency Room, Specialist Service Units, Central Operating Room, Inpatient Rooms, and the Integrated Residency Training Room.
The visit is expected to foster international collaboration between Universitas Sumatera Utara and SDGHI, particularly in academics, healthcare services, research, and dental technology. Both institutions aim to support each other in enhancing the quality and impact of dental education and services globally.
